Dylan joined Hobbs Giroday as an articling student in August 2014. Dylan was called to the bar in June, 2015 and continues as an associate lawyer with the firm. Before entering the practice of law Dylan worked for Canada’s largest Credit Union for 10 years. Dylan brings that experience forward in his work at Hobbs Giroday.
Dylan’s work is largely a litigation practice with the inclusion of some solicitor’s work. Dylan has appeared at both the BC Provincial and Supreme Courts. Dylan helps clients with personal injury claims, shareholders’ disputes, wills variation claims and other estate litigation issues such as passing executor’s accounts, appointment of committees.
Dylan is currently a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. While in law school Dylan was elected and served for a term as the Treasurer of the Student Law Society and was a chosen member of the Thompson Rivers inaugural Wilson Moot team.
Dylan has a rich volunteer history and cares deeply about giving back to his community, Dylan was a Big Brother during law school. In the past, Dylan has volunteered at a downtown eastside soup kitchen, Blenheim Lodge retirement home and with children with special needs.
